Style Muse: Brigitte Bardot

As a former singer, fashion model, actor, and activist, Miss Brigitte Anne-Marie Bardot was certainly a B.B (Bad Bish) in her day.

Even though Brigitte wanted to be a ballerina, fate took her down another path.  Modeling and acting soon became her clain to fame.
Her outspoken attitude and fashion sense made her one of the "IT" girls of her time.
Simone de Beauvoir even named her the first and most liberated woman of post-war France in his 1959 essay, The Lolita Syndrome.

I love her eyes!
In fashion the Bardot neckline (a wide open neck that exposes both shoulders) is named after her.
She has  been credited with popularizing the city of St. Tropez and the town of Buzios, Brazil. She visited in Buzios with her boyfriend at the time, Brazilian musician Bob Zagury. They loved her so much she has a statue made for her.

She also made this beehive hairstyle (which I am in love with) popular.

Brigitte was DOPE.
