Ms. Minaj gave me "Cinderella" in her turquoise crystal goddess gown from The Blonds’ Spring 2011 collection. I was pleasantly surprised by this outfit. Although she tamed it all the way down for this video, she still gave me fashion!

I tried to eat lunch and watch this... FAIL. I just had to put the food down and finish laughing!

Nothing soothes my soul like a good laugh.

A Little Sunday Encouragement: Reflect On Your Past To Be Clear About Your Future

I am a “chronic reminiscer”.

Sometimes I like to sit and think about my past to reflect on where I’ve come from and what I’ve overcome. I do this in order to remember WHY I have set the goals that I have. I do it to remember my PURPOSE because the greatest tragedy in life is not death, it is life without purpose.

I think that people always have their eyes on the prize, that’s fair, but the saying

“You can’t know where you’re going unless you know where you’ve been”

is so true.

How do you know where you’re going if you don’t know your past?

Whether it's good or bad, we must always take a look at what we’ve experienced in order to move ahead and progress.

As a former singer, fashion model, actor, and activist, Miss Brigitte Anne-Marie Bardot was certainly a B.B (Bad Bish) in her day.

YSL has a line of lipsticks called Rouge Volupté and boy am I in lust!

The colors look like they just POP out of the tubes!

Not only are the colors vibrant but the gold cases just scream "ooo la la" to me!

Beyonce Set To Release 2nd Fragrance: "Heat: Rush"

Never let it be said that the ever amazing Beyonce is lazy.

Beyonce was supposed to be taking a break.

She lied (thankfully so).

Bey is set to release her 2nd fragrance following her highly successful perfume debut with Heat.

As you all already know, I "caught the fever" with my Heat gift set so I am excited to see what she will give us next.

Apparently this new version, which is scheduled to hit stores next month, is a lighter daytime scent.

7 Things About Sherine, the "City Girl":

1. I'm a city girl... DUH! Lol I live in NYC, Brooklyn to be exact.

2. Although I am a city girl, I love to travel. My parents are from the Caribbean so when I was born, I was blessed with the opportunity to live there and go to school there as a child. I think there is something amazing about living on an island.

3. I go off on tangents... A LOT. I always have something to say, it's like I can't shut up! My mother says as a child I talked to any and everybody. Guess that's why I'm so friendly.

4. I love cultures. I love to read about them, experience them... EVERYTHING. I love trying different foods, clothes, hairstyles, music, and more from other cultures. Before I die, I want to experience, first hand, Japanese and Indian culture. I will own a Kimono and Sarii!

5. I have a tough exterior but as you have probably noticed from reading my blog, I cry a lot in private! All my friends think it's hilarious when I say "yeah girl, I cried." I get crickets... then laughter... followed by a series of "YEAH RIGHT GIRL"s. They just never believe me when I say I cry and I refuse to cry infront of them to prove a point.

6. I am a college student (Majoring in: Media and Communication Arts- Public Relations and Advertising Minoring in: English- Creative Writing) and i'm in my last semester of my undergrad experience! This is probably the most exciting thing ever because, right now, I am SO tired of school! I've been in school for 20 years and I am OVER it (I started school when I was 2 back in Grenada).

SIDEBAR: Stay in school kids, it's important!

7. This list wouldn't be complete if I didn't mention that I am a singer (click to visit my Youtube channel). I have been for the greater part of my life. I've always been in choirs and I waent to Fiorello H. LaGuardia Music and Art and The Performing Arts (aka the FAME school) for vocal. I aspire to have a professional career but right now, getting out of school is the motive.

A Little Sunday Encouragement: Watch Me Do Me

Today's Sunday Encouragement is about “doing you”.

For the most part, the people in our lives are supportive and amazing. They love us, they care about us, and they are there for us when we need them the most.

But… there are a handful of people that we encounter who don’t support our dreams. They silently, or not so silently, try to discourage you from pursuing your goals.

I know from personal experience, there have been people in my life who have said “why are you doing this? You won’t succeed at it. Just do THIS. Do the ‘norm’ and you’ll be happy.”

Well to those people, I’ve always said:

“No thanks, I’ll keep doing it my way. Watch me do me.”

As hard as it is to not be a “people pleaser”, I promise not caring will be the most fulfilling experience.

When we care, we hold ourselves back. Don’t hold yourself back from your DREAMS, your ASPIRATIONS.

You can really do whatever you want to do if you put your mind to it.

The first and last step is believing in YOU.

Once you do that, all people will be forced to do is watch you do you.

Boxing Kitten's Fabulous S/S 2011

I've been seeing Boxing Kitten around the fashion/music scene for a while now.

So many people have been rocking the designers from Rihanna, to Beyonce, Estelle, Alicia Keys, and Solonge just to name a few.

The lines vibrant colors and African inspired prints are what drew me to it. They are sexy, feminine, and yet very wearable and comfy. I'm guessing with a name like Boxing Kitten, you have to be wearable yet sexy.

I love to look unique and Boxing Kitten does just that!

While her Resort 2010 line was inspired by Ms. Josephine Baker, the Spring 2011 collection, the inspiration came from Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!, a 1965 film by Russ Meyers about three go-go dancers who love fast cars, sex and violence.

Sounds interesting right?
