Adele Is My Hero

She really is my hero... I love this woman's voice.

I've been on a "listen to Adele" binge for about a week now. I have a few favorite songs but "Set Fire To The Rain" and "Don't You Rememeber" off her 21 album are inmy top two.

Adele is currently on vocal rest because of a severe case of laryngitis... but she'll be back soon enough!

Pac would've been 40 today. While they don't make them like him anymore, I am still glad i have his music to listen and vibe to.

Speak of the devil.. I just told a friend of mine how much I missed Jojo's voice in my life.

Well here she is, she did a remix to Drake's new song "Marvin Room".

I wasn't a fan of Drake's version but Jojo's version definitely made it onto my iTunes player.

I'm A Grad!

I have graduated college and it feels GREAT!!!!

While being a college grad is exciting, it's still nerve racking as hell. I'm at one of the major crossroads in life but i'm happy about it :-)

Artist Spotlight: Xavier Burgin's Short Film "Portrait Of The Storm"

One of the things I love about the blogosphere is that you find information about major events on a personal level.

I've been following this dope photographer/filmmaker named Xavier for a while. He features a lot of his work on his blog Que The Lights.

I popped by his page today and saw an amazing video on the devastation that crossed Tuscaloosa, Alabama on April 27,2011.

The state was hit with tornados that ripped through people's homes and lives. He directed a short film on the events and I was touched!

The film shows some of the actual tornado, as well as interviews from people who survived.
