LL Bean's Shearling Boots... Should I? Should I Not?

Saw these boots on LL Bean's website and i have no idea how to feel.
It is pebble grained leather with a shearling lining and goes for $149 (which I dont think is a bad price!).

On one hand, I really do think this boot will be great for snow/rain days.
On the other hand, how the heck can I wear this?

Any tips/ideas?

Rings And Things

I bought a lot of interesting jewelry before I left to go on my vacation. I loved all of them but, my favorite had to be these two rings.

I'm starting to become a huge statement ring fan.

LOL: Rosario Dawson Shakes It With "The Bullitts" In London

This made me die from laughter at 1:22 this morning. It was filmed by "The Bullitts" in London’s West End. In the video, Rosario Dawson is approached by someone who appeared to be a street bum. Instead of harassing her, he just wanted to dance to his "SUPERCOOL" track... and dance they did! She’s definitely a cool chick for this!

"Whats your name?" "I haven't got one"
Major cool points!
I need to have a moment like this at least once in my life. It will happen lol.
If this didn't make your day, I don't lnow WHAT will.

Nails Did: Half Moon Mani

I definitely loved the simplicity of this half moon mani.
I was inspired by Adele's nails from her Cosmopolitan shoot this past Novemember, so i decided to give it a try.

I'm not sure what the name of the polish is but I believe it was OPI Tickle My Fancy and a cheap beauty store black nail polish.

Back From Grenada And Missing The Sun (PHOTOS)

Hog Island 2011

If you didn't already know, I was born In Brooklyn but I was raised in my parents homeland, Grenada, in the West Indies (also known as the Spice Isle). As a kid, I spent summers with my grandmother eating amazing Caribbean dishes like rice and peas, stew chicken and calaloo; I played in kiddies carnival; and I lounged by the river eating mango's for many days.
As a whole, I gained an authentic dual cultural upbringing in my younger years.

Prior to this vacation however, it had been 9 years since I went back home.
When I booked my ticket I was beyond excited, partly nervous, and VERY anxious. I wondered if the country had changed, would I like the changes, would I have fun etc.

Boy did I have fun!
I did so many things that made the trip worthwhile. I went snorkeling for the first time, visited a private island, went hiking up a mountain (involuntarily lol), visited a sulfur hot spring, took an island tour, saw a black sand beach, and spent a lot of time with family.

Needless to say that since I am going through MAJOR withdrawal symptoms, I am missing Grenada more than ever. I love that little island in the sun!
